Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful difference in the lives of K-8 students by providing speech-language support in a supportive educational setting. This contract opportunity is designed for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) who is passionate about helping young learners achieve their communication goals. Work with a manageable and focused caseload, ensuring you have time to truly connect with each student.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid SLPA licensure in Arizona Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is preferred Strong communication and organizational abilities Ability to collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and parents Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language services to K-8 students under the guidance of a supervising SLP Implement individualized educational programs and therapy plans Track student progress and document session outcomes accurately Participate in brief team meetings or consultations as needed Work on-site Fridays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm for a total of 4 hours per week Manage a small, focused caseload, allowing for tailored instruction and meaningful student interaction
