Location:
District-Wide Essential Functions Attends meetings and in-service presentations (e.g. staff meetings, regulatory updates, etc.) for the purpose of acquiring and/or conveying information relative to job functions. Collects student information (e.g. demographical data, circumstantial information, etc.) for the purpose of preparing reports and/or processing forms. Communicates with internal and external personnel (e.g. speech and language pathologist, parents, students, etc.) for the purpose of conveying and/or receiving information required to perform job functions. Establishes positive individual relationships (e.g. students, parents, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring a positive experience for clients. Inputs data into student information system (e.g. student record updates, scheduling, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring accuracy and availability of data. Manages assigned projects and activities (e.g. therapy, reports, etc.) for the purpose of meeting established timeliness and objectives. Monitors student plans (e.g. therapy, meeting dates, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring student compliance with established plans. Prepares a variety of written documents and/or materials (e.g. correspondence, program descriptions, parent notices, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference, and/or conveying information. Processes new and referral students (e.g. students coming from other schools, students referred by a medical professional, etc.) for the purpose of enrolling and orienting them to program in accordance to the speech and pathology program requirements. Provides ongoing feedback to appropriate parties (e.g. parents, speech and language pathologist, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring all parties necessary to a student's are informed. Researches a variety of topics (e.g. current practices, data codes, etc.) for the purpose of providing information and/or recommendations that address a variety of administrative requirements. Translates verbal and written communication(s) (e.g. speech and language pathologist during testing, parents, etc.) for the purpose of assisting speech and language pathologist, students, and parents in communicating.
Experience:
Job related experience is desired.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in job-related area.
