Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract This opportunity is ideal for a motivated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) seeking hands-on experience in an educational setting. Situated in Berkeley, CA, this full-time contract position will provide exposure to a diverse K-12 district, serving students across a broad age range. Responsibilities include assisting speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy services, implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), documenting student progress, and supporting communication development for students with speech and language challenges. The role requires collaboration with educators, therapists, and families to facilitate positive outcomes for students.
Key Qualifications:
Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Ability to work effectively within a school-based team Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to supporting students with diverse speech and language needs Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development New graduates are encouraged to apply; support and mentorship will be provided
Position Details:
Contract term: ASAP through End of School Year (EOSY) and Extended School Year (ESY) Full-time schedule: 32 hours per week
