Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Empower students to reach their full potential by providing essential support as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. This contract opportunity is designed for professionals who thrive in educational settings and are passionate about working with children and young adults.
Key Qualifications:
Active SLPA licensure or certification required Experience working within school environments, preferably K-12 Familiarity with implementing therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in delivering speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in individualized education programs (IEPs) Conduct screening activities and assist with evaluations under supervision Implement and document therapy sessions, monitor progress, and provide feedback to supervising Speech-Language Pathologist Prepare materials and organize activities for therapy sessions Maintain accurate student records and comply with school and legal documentation requirements Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions, and student case reviews as needed This position allows you to make a meaningful difference while expanding your experience in a supportive educational setting.
