Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an engaging school-based opportunity serving students across a supportive district environment. This contract position calls for an experienced SLP with CCC credentials to provide on-site speech-language pathology services. With a manageable caseload and a consistent daytime schedule, you'll play a vital role in helping young learners develop essential communication skills. What we're looking for: Hold a current Speech-Language Pathology license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred Ability to work effectively with diverse K-12 student populations Comfortable working across multiple school sites within the district Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills Must be adaptable and self-motivated Your key responsibilities will include: Delivering direct speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of needs Administering assessments, developing IEP goals, and documenting student progress Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with teachers, families, and ancillary staff Providing recommendations and strategies for classroom integration Traveling districtwide to serve assigned caseload of 35-40 students Maintaining detailed, timely records in compliance with state and federal regulations Promoting positive learning environments and advocating for students' communication needs This position is on-site, running Monday through Friday from 8:30AM to 4:00PM, with a half-hour unpaid lunch. You'll work 35 hours each week, ensuring you can build meaningful relationships and make a measurable difference for the students you serve. Please note, this position is not open to SLPAs.
