Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract opportunity allows you to work closely with a skilled preschool SLP, providing daily support to help young learners thrive. Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or certification in accordance with state requirements Previous experience in schools, particularly early childhood or preschool settings, is highly valued Ability to collaborate effectively with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and parents Strong communication, organization, and observation skills Enthusiasm for supporting young children's speech and language development
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the on-site Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering therapy sessions and implementing treatment plans Work with preschool students, carrying out targeted activities to facilitate language and communication growth Document student progress, maintaining accurate records in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines Collaborate closely with educational staff and families to ensure continuity of care Help create a supportive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Position Details:
35 hours per week
Schedule:
