School-Based Speech & Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Huntington Park, CA 90255 $42 an hour - Part-time $42 an hour -
Part-time Summary of Position:
Devoted Education Solutions LLC (DES) is seeking a highly motivated and passionate part-time licensed Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to work at a K-5 Charter School in Pacoima, CA.This school serves a high population of Spanish-speaking students, and bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality services that help students access and fully participate in their educational program.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement treatment plans in alignment with student IEP goals
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of services
- Support the development and monitoring of IEP goals for assigned students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Foster a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising SLP or program team
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or related field OR completion of an accredited SLPA program
- Active California SLPA license (required)
- Ability to pass DOJ background check
- Current TB clearance
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred (eligible for stipend)
