We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Communication Partner to join our team to work with a private client in La Canada, CA! About the Role As a Communication Partner, you will work one-on-one with individuals who use AAC to: Support them in expressing their thoughts, needs, and ideas Assist them in participating in education, therapy, and community activities Encourage independence, connection, and growth so they can pursue their goals and dreams Part time (5-6 hours per week) Needed availability: 2-3 hours on both Saturdays and Sundays This is more than a job—it's an opportunity to be a vital part of someone's journey toward full and meaningful communication. Who We're Looking For You don't need prior experience as a Communication Partner — we provide full training and ongoing support. We especially welcome applicants with backgrounds in: Speech & Language (SLPAs, graduate students in SLP) Special Education (teachers, paraeducators, classroom aides) Behavioral Therapy (RBTs, BCBAs, ABA professionals) Mental Health (MFTs, MFT trainees, counseling backgrounds)… …but we also encourage applicants from other fields who are patient, reliable, and passionate about helping others communicate. Qualifications Interest in working with individuals with communication challenges or disabilities Strong interpersonal and observation skills Willingness to learn and grow through ongoing training Ability to collaborate with families, therapists, and educators Need daytime availability between Monday-Friday Why Join Us?
