Job Description

Job Title:
Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Job Overview:
BEAM is seeking qualified and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to provide services for school-aged students during the upcoming school year. This is an independent contractor position supporting students through in-home and virtual service delivery models. No on-campus services are required. Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), the SLPA will provide direct speech and language intervention services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Services will be delivered either virtually or in students' homes, depending on district and student needs. Duties/ Responsibilities Provide direct speech and language therapy services as directed by the supervising SLP. Implement treatment plans and activities developed by the supervising SLP. Collect data and document student progress toward IEP goals. Maintain accurate service logs and session notes. Collaborate with families, district personnel, and the supervising SLP. Participate in required supervision meetings and trainings. Adhere to all district, state, federal, and
HIPAA/FERPA
confidentiality requirements. Utilize teletherapy platforms and technology as needed for virtual service delivery. Qualifications Current California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License. Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills. Reliable internet connection and technology for virtual sessions. Reliable transportation for in-home assignments, if applicable. Ability to work independently while maintaining regular communication with the supervising SLP. Schedule Flexible scheduling based on student caseload and availability.
