This contract role is designed for dedicated, compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) eager to collaborate with experienced teams and help students reach their communication goals. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Valid certification and state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Previous experience supporting children or adolescents in a school-based setting is a plus Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills Ability to adapt approaches to meet each student's unique needs Collaborative mindset for working with educators, therapists, and families
Core Responsibilities:
Implement therapy activities and treatment plans under SLP supervision Conduct group and individual sessions as outlined by student IEPs Monitor, document, and report student progress regularly Prepare and organize therapy materials to enhance student engagement Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines Encourage student participation and celebrate achievements You'll be welcomed into a setting that values professional growth, student-centered practice, and a friendly, collaborative spirit.
