Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist can make a daily impact in young learners' lives. This in-person contract position is designed for an SLP with CCC credentials to work throughout the full 2026-2027 school year at a single elementary site serving Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade. The schedule is a consistent 8 AM to 3 PM, Monday to Friday, totaling 35 hours each week—a structure that offers work/life balance and the chance to build strong relationships with students and staff.
Qualifications and Desired Skills:
Current Speech-Language Pathology licensure with CCC required Experience working with school-aged children, especially in elementary settings Strong collaborative skills for working with teachers, families, and support staff Expertise developing and implementing IEPs and progress monitoring Committed to fostering communication growth in diverse learners Excellent communication and organizational abilitiesRole Responsibilities:
Provide direct assessment, intervention, and therapy to elementary students in TK-5th grades Develop, review, and manage IEPs in alignment with school and district guidelines Collaborate with teachers and families to adapt strategies that support student communication needs Document progress, maintain records, and participate in eligibility and team meetings Engage in school events and activities as an integral part of the educational community Promote positive, inclusive interactions that encourage student academic and social success Contribute your skills to a setting that values student achievement and your professional expertise.
