Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make an immediate impact supporting local students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a dynamic school setting! This contract opportunity offers the chance to work on an experienced team, providing crucial support while covering leaves of absence for the 2026-2027 school year. Key Qualifications:
Valid licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in California Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads efficiently Effective communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities Flexibility and adaptability to integrate into established teams Passion for working with children and supporting diverse student populations
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy to students according to individualized plans under the supervision of an SLP Support ongoing IEP goals and objectives by implementing prescribed interventions Collect data, document session progress, and contribute to team meetings Communicate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and staff Participate in scheduled meetings, trainings, and professional development Maintain confidentiality and compliance with school and federal guidelines
