Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make a positive impact supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) during the 2026-2027 academic year. This is an itinerant contract position, offering a dynamic environment where you'll work across multiple school sites, collaborating with educators and speech-language pathologists to support communication goals for students.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or certification Previous experience in school settings preferred, though recent graduates with strong clinical skills will also be considered Comfortable working in an itinerant role, traveling between campuses as scheduled Skilled in providing direct therapy and following treatment plans developed by supervising SLPs Excellent communication, time management, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group speech/language therapy under the guidance of a licensed SLP Assist with screening, assessment, and progress documentation for students receiving speech services Implement intervention activities that foster communication skills in the classroom and other settings Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and families to support students' IEP goals and ensure consistent care Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings as needed Travel between assigned school locations within the district according to the itinerant route
