A full-time, onsite Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position is available supporting a diverse TK-8th grade caseload. This contract role offers a chance to deliver hands-on therapy and work closely with experienced educators and therapists to refine your skills. Ideal candidates will bring a passion for helping children develop strong communication abilities and a collaborative approach to working within a school setting. As an SLPA, you'll play a key role in supporting student success and making a lasting impact.
Qualifications:
Active and valid California SLPA license (required) Previous experience as an SLPA in a school environment is highly valued Ability to work effectively with children in TK through 8th grade Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Skilled in keeping records and documenting student progress
Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist Support the implementation of IEP goals for students across a range of speech and language needs Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families Assist with conducting screenings and collecting data for progress monitoring Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to therapy and student achievements
