Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic school setting offering valuable support to elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. This is a contract opportunity within a TK-12 district serving approximately 3,650 students, with this role focusing on a caseload of around 60 students in transitional kindergarten through 5th grade. As part of an enthusiastic educational team, you'll be based at a single elementary site, collaborating and providing comprehensive speech services across a broad range of student needs—ranging from general education supports to moderate/severe needs.
What We're Looking For:
Valid SLPA credential required Prior school-based SLPA experience preferred, especially supporting TK-5th grade populations Skill and confidence in delivering direct speech services, supporting IEP processes, and conducting assessments/evaluations for diverse student abilities Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities Adaptability and resourcefulness in meeting a wide spectrum of speech-language needs
Your Role Will Include:
Providing direct speech-language interventions to approximately 60 elementary students with varied needs Assisting with the development, implementation, and documentation of IEPs Conducting and supporting speech-language assessments and evaluations Collaborating closely with supervising SLPs and educational teams Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate, timely documentation Communicating effectively with educators and families to support student goals You'll feel valued in a supportive educational environment with a steady schedule of 37.5 contracted hours per week throughout the academic year, from August 2026 to June 2027.
