Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based setting and play a vital role in supporting students' communication skills as an onsite Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. This contract opportunity near San Luis Obispo, CA, offers the chance to collaborate closely with experienced professionals and make a direct impact in the educational journey of children.
Key Qualifications:
Active SLPA licensure Prior experience in K-12 school environments is required Comfortable working onsite with children and school staff Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to adapt to an ever-changing school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language services to students, following individualized education programs and treatment plans established by supervising speech-language pathologists Work one-on-one or with small groups to implement therapy activities targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication skills Collect and accurately document data regarding student progress Collaborate with teachers, parents, and SLPs to support student needs in the classroom setting Assist with routine documentation and the preparation of therapy materials
Role Details:
