Job Description
Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to a rewarding contract assignment assisting students during a school-based SLP leave. This exciting opportunity begins in August 2026 and will extend through November or December 2026, providing you with a set schedule of 30 hours weekly, Monday through Friday. In this role, you will step into an established school environment, working with a manageable caseload that averages around 45 students. You'll benefit from the collaboration and support of other SLPAs on campus, making the experience collaborative and nurturing. As you deliver care, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining consistent services and advancing communication outcomes for students during this coverage period.
Qualifications:
Valid SLPA license required Experience in a school-based setting preferred Able to provide intervention and support to students with various communication needs Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to adapt to dynamic educational environmentsKey Responsibilities:
