Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Join an educational contract position as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting students within a school setting in Santa Clarita, CA. This role offers 30 hours per week during the school year, starting August 12, 2026, through June 4, 2027. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to assist with caseloads, contributing to the development and progress of approximately 45 students typically managed by each SLP.
Location and Schedule:
Primary assignment: Valencia High School (Monday to Wednesday) Secondary assignment: ATP Program at Castaic High School (Thursday and Friday) Flexibility required for potential school site reassignments as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Support SLPs in delivering speech and language services to students. Assist with implementing therapy sessions and documenting student progress. Collaborate with educators and SLPs to ensure consistent communication and effective support. Adapt to changing assignments and schedules as directed by school administration.

Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with relevant school experience. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and communication skills.
