Our team is committed to fostering positive outcomes for children and adolescents through tailored interventions and collaborative care. Overview We are seeking a bilingual Speech Pathology Assistant to support speech therapy services for pediatric clients. This paid position offers an opportunity to work closely with speech-language pathologists, children, and their families in clinic or in their home. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping children develop communication skills and possess relevant experience in pediatrics and early intervention. Duties Assist speech-language pathologists in implementing therapy plans tailored to individual student needs. Support children during speech therapy sessions, encouraging participation and engagement. Help monitor and document progress of students with communication challenges, ensuring accurate record-keeping. Prepare therapy materials and assist with the setup of intervention activities. Facilitate a positive, inclusive environment that promotes learning and development for children with diverse needs. Requirements Proven experience working with children in educational or clinical settings, especially within pediatrics or early intervention programs. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, with excellent communication skills in both languages. Knowledge of speech therapy techniques, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to communication disorders. Ability to work effectively with children experiencing communication challenges across various settings such as schools or clinics. Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and assist in therapy planning. A background in speech therapy assistance, physiotherapy knowledge, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
