Speech Pathologist Assistant in Simi Valley, CA

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students' communication development as a school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming school year. This contract role begins in August 2026 and extends through November or December, covering an SLP leave at a vibrant and collaborative educational environment located near Simi Valley, CA. With a 30-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, you'll work alongside a team of experienced SLPAs and benefit from an average caseload of about 45 students. Key Qualifications and Experience:

Valid, current California licensure as an SLPA Recent experience working in a school environment, preferably with elementary or secondary students Knowledge of speech-language intervention strategies and the ability to implement therapy plans under SLP supervision Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:
