This contract opportunity focuses on delivering expert speech-language pathology services as an SLPA, providing meaningful impact for children and collaborating with passionate educational teams near Suisun City, CA.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in California Experience working with children or within school settings strongly preferred Skills in implementing speech and language intervention plans under the supervision of an SLP Ability to document progress and maintain accurate student records Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Compassion, patience, and adaptability to diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and small-group speech and language services to students as directed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologist Assist in the development and implementation of intervention strategies for students with communication disorders Prepare and utilize instructional materials and resources for speech therapy sessions Collect and document data on student progress, assisting with reporting and compliance requirements Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student learning and carry over of skills within the classroom Participate in staff meetings, training opportunities, and contribute to a positive, inclusive environment This contract assignment offers the chance to expand your professional experience while making a direct difference in the lives of students.
