Job Description

CHILDREN'S SPEECH CARE
We seek a
P/T SLPA
to join our close-knit, supportive team. If you're looking for a warm, collaborative environment where you can truly thrive, we'd love to meet you! We are a dynamic, team-oriented speech-language private practice in Torrance, CA (close to the beaches). Our team of SLPs and SLPAs is a remarkable and passionate group focused on holistic and neurodiversity-affirming patient care and professional growth. We enjoy individualizing treatment for each patient. We work closely with the patient, parents, caregivers, and other team members to improve our patients' learning and communication potential and enrich their lives. We respect each individual's dignity, worth, values, unique qualities, strengths, differences, and learning pace. Our clinic is brightly decorated and uplifting. We work with a wonderfully diverse population of toddlers, children, and adolescents/young adults who present with various etiologies and communication disorders. Each therapist has their own treatment room We have a variety of specialty rooms, e.g., sensory-motor and pretend play rooms and an adolescent/adult treatment room. We offer in-person and telehealth sessions. We have routine staff meetings for FT therapists focused on learning and collaboration. We value our therapists and offer a supportive, enriching, and collaborative working environment! We enjoy reasonable caseloads and offer lots of materials as well as documentation time. We provide excellent support and supervision. Clinical staff enjoy collaborating, brainstorming, and mentoring. Our administrative staff work closely with our clinical team and are responsible for all scheduling and billing. Our goal is to help you focus on your patients and promote your professional growth and creativity as a therapist. Our pay scale is competitive and based on experience and skill range.
Requirements:
College Degree (associate's or bachelor's) from an accredited institution SLPA certification California state licensure Experience working with the pediatric population Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to collaborate with and educate family members/caregivers Self-disciplined, focused, career-oriented, and motivated to excel Mandatory vaccinations, a current TB test, and CPR training It would be impossible for us to explain the full range of our employment opportunities, so we invite you to visit our comprehensive employment recruiting page and video library at: https://childspeech.
