This full-time opportunity as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a school setting near Vista, CA offers a rewarding environment working with K-12 students experiencing a variety of speech and language delays. The position involves a 37.5-hour workweek on a contract basis, providing hands-on support to students alongside licensed speech-language pathologists.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing individualized speech and language intervention plans for students with diverse communication needs Support evaluation procedures and document student progress accurately Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to enhance student communication outcomes Manage a caseload consisting of children from kindergarten through 12th grade Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school and state guidelines

Experience or certification as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a school environment Knowledge of speech and language development in children and adolescents Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Strong communication and organizational skills Familiarity with various speech and language disorders and corresponding interventions
