This position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) eager to apply their expertise in both educational and healthcare settings within a vibrant school environment. Qualifications and Experience:

Active California SLPA license required Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Passion for helping children develop their speech and language abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct therapy to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Assist in conducting speech, language, and hearing screenings Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and document student progress Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs Prepare and maintain accurate therapy records and progress reports Engage in professional development and training as needed
