Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role empowering student communication and learning as an integral member of a collaborative speech-language team. This full-time opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in a school-based setting spans service to students from PreK through 12th grade, offering both professional growth and a chance to make a lasting impact.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLPA license or certification for Colorado Experience working with school-aged children preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and related service teams Familiarity with conducting assessments, implementing therapy, and supporting IEP goals Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to PreK-12th grade students under supervision Complete assessments and contribute to evaluation reports as part of the IEP process Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing input on student progress and needs Create and implement creative treatment activities tailored to diverse learners Maintain accurate service logs and collaborate with supervising SLP and educational staff Monitor and document students' progress toward communication goals
