Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Providing specialized speech-language pathology services for K-12 students in a dynamic public school setting, this full-time contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to student development in the Denver area (east side). Serving a caseload typically ranging from 25 to 45 students, the role requires on-site presence and involves supporting a diverse group of learners throughout the school year until May 21, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations and interventions tailored to individual student needs across K-12 grade levels Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Participate in district professional development sessions, with four days allotted in the second semester Manage caseloads and document progress in accordance with district and state guidelines Provide mentorship and supervision for Certificate of Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates who have completed their 8-week school rotation, where applicableQualifications and Experience:
Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) Certification Valid Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist License 0+ years of experience in a school setting; supervision provided for eligible CF candidates Ability to comply with district background check procedures promptly Commitment to full-time, on-site work—no virtual or hybrid arrangements permittedLocation:

Immediate start through May 21, 2026Schedule:
37.5 hours per week, full-time Benefits include participation in professional development days recognized by the district. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Qualified candidates are encouraged to provide availability for a prescreen interview within designated morning or afternoon windows. to engage with a supportive educational environment focused on speech-language pathology excellence. Compensation for this position ranges from $37.73 to $57.73. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
