Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for the full 2026/2027 academic year. Responsibilities:
Work closely with Speech Language Pathologists to implement targeted therapy plans in both elementary and middle school settings. Deliver direct speech and language intervention to students in alignment with IEP goals. Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide ongoing feedback to supervising SLPs and educational staff. Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student support approaches. Prepare materials, organize therapy sessions, and adapt strategies based on student needs. Encourage and motivate students, supporting their communication growth and confidence.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license in Colorado, or eligibility for credentialing. Previous experience as a school-based SLPA is highly regarded. Familiarity with diverse student populations, especially in elementary or middle school environments. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative educational team. This full-time contract runs from August 12, 2026, through May 28, 2027.
