Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic, student-centered environment supporting speech and language development in school communities near Lone Tree, CO. This opportunity is ideal for enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) ready to make a daily impact across varied age groups. With both full-time (37.5 hours/week) and part-time (3 days/week) contract roles available, you'll play a crucial part in shaping students' communication skills for the upcoming academic year. Choose from two full-time caseloads—serving both elementary and middle school students—or a flexible part-time position working with middle and high school learners. Each SLPA will operate within a single building, ensuring focused support and strong school relationships.
Key Qualifications:
Active Colorado SLPA license required Previous school-based experience strongly preferred Ability to adapt communication approaches for varied age groups and learning styles Strong collaboration skills with supervising SLPs, educators, and families Exceptional organizational skills for managing documentation and IEP goals Commitment to cultural competence and creating an inclusive learning environment
Core Responsibilities:
Implement speech-language therapy plans developed by supervising SLPs Provide direct and indirect interventions to foster students' communication growth Collect data, maintain records, and contribute to ongoing student assessments Support generalization of communication skills in classroom and community settings Participate in team meetings and assist in adapting materials to enhance session effectiveness This contract position offers you the chance to work alongside dedicated professionals in modern, supportive school settings while helping students reach their fullest communication potential.
