Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, serving elementary and middle school students. This full-time role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact, supporting young learners in their communication development. Multiple openings are available, providing flexibility and an immediate start date of August 12, 2026, concluding May 28, 2027.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLPA licensure or eligibility as required Experience in school-based settings (elementary and/or middle school preferred) Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families Ability to follow treatment plans as directed by a licensed Speech Language Pathologist Enthusiasm for working collaboratively in an educational environment Organizational skills to manage documentation and scheduling Poise, patience, and an encouraging attitude
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language services to students under supervision Implement individualized intervention programs and activities Support the assessment process by assisting with documentation and data collection Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and support staff Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development Maintain accurate records and progress reports Foster a positive learning atmosphere in both pull-out and in-classroom settings
