Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Take the next step in your career by supporting students' communication and language development in a rewarding educational environment. We're searching for dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistants for full-time, contract positions in the upcoming 26/27 school year. With multiple openings available, you'll provide essential services to elementary and middle school students, making a real difference in their academic and social success.
Key Qualifications:
Associate's degree from an accredited SLPA program or equivalent Valid state SLPA certification Relevant experience in school or pediatric settings preferred Strong communication and organizational abilities Enthusiasm for collaborating with SLPs, teachers, and families Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist Speech Language Pathologists in implementing treatment plans for students' speech and language needs Deliver direct service to students in both individual and small group settings Document student progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records in compliance with state and district policies Support screening and assessment activities under supervision Collaborate with educational staff to promote generalization of speech and language skills in the classroom Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
