Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Ideal candidates will have:
Current SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) licensure or eligibility in Colorado Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred Understanding of principles and techniques of speech and language therapy for children Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families Commitment to supporting students with diverse needs Key responsibilities include: Providing direct therapy to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Assisting lead Speech-Language Pathologists with assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring Preparing therapy materials and maintaining accurate documentation of student progress Supporting classroom teachers in adapting communication strategies and materials Participating in IEP meetings and team collaborations as needed Maintaining a positive and professional rapport with students and staff This contract opportunity not only offers the chance to make a tangible difference in young lives but also provides flexibility and valuable experience within a supportive educational setting.
