School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant | Farmington, Connecticut ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Farmington, CT Job Details Contract $38.29 - $48.29 an hour 15 hours ago Benefits Career development plan Qualifications SLPA License Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Key Qualifications:
Hold an active Connecticut SLPA license Previous experience in school settings highly preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families Comfortable working with students across K-12 age range Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to evolving caseload needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language services to K-12 students as directed by a supervising SLP Implement activities and exercises designed to improve speech, language, and communication skills Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school requirements Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support educational goals Participate in planning and adapting therapy approaches as student needs evolve throughout the ESY program
Assignment Details:
Work Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 1:15 pm ESY program runs July 6 through July 30 The site for this assignment is the designated ESY campus, West Woods Upper Elementary Direct supervision provided, fostering growth and professional development In-person interview required; one position available Experience the satisfaction of making a lasting impact during a focused, four-week summer program.
