Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the remainder of the school year. This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact in an educational setting. The position begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the current academic year.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent Current Connecticut state licensure (or eligibility) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous experience working in a school setting preferred Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment Key responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs Develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student progress and goal achievement Maintain thorough and timely documentation on all student interactions and outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions on student care Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices
