Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting students' communication development for the 2026-2027 academic year. This part-time contract opportunity near Stamford, CT, is perfect for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with a strong background in educational settings. Work just two days per week, contributing 13 hours weekly to help students reach their individual potential while maintaining an ideal work-life balance.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Current SLPA license or certification, meeting Connecticut state requirements A minimum of one year of experience in a school environment Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and classroom collaboration Excellent communication skills and a passion for working with children Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and within a team Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic school settings
Key Responsibilities:
