Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This part-time Speech-Language Pathology position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Georgetown, DE, offering a supportive environment serving students in grades K-6. The role requires providing direct therapy services two full days weekly, with an additional half-day reserved for meetings and testing, allowing for a balance between clinical work and collaborative responsibilities. Ideal candidates will hold certifications such as SLP, SLP-CCC, or SLP-School credentials. Consideration will also be given to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants and Clinical Fellows who possess school-based experience or background. Flexibility in service delivery is emphasized; the position is currently in-person with the possibility of transitioning to a virtual format by August.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a growing caseload of K-6 students Conduct testing and participate in necessary meetings Coordinate with school personnel to implement effective intervention plans Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications:
Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with relevant credentials (SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-School) preferred Candidates with experience as Speech-Language Pathology Assistants or Clinical Fellows with school-based backgrounds will be considered Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively in a school setting
