We are hiring a part-time SLPA (bilingual) to treat our pediatric patients at the schools and clinic. We are looking for a therapist that is excited about making a change in a child's life, someone that can manage their schedule, complete notes, regularly communicate with parents, coach and encourage parents. Our Ideal Candidate would be:
- Proficient in providing therapy to kids of all ages.
- Engaging and friendly.
- A person that takes initiative to learn new therapy techniques and stay current on research
- A proactive problem solver that spots issues before they happen and identifies solutions, these may include calling/texting parents, rescheduling patients, moving a patient to a virtual session if they cannot come in.
- Can learn and use electronic medical record quickly and efficiently
- Loves working with young children-we treat a lot of toddlers in our office.
What We Pay:
We pay $24
- 29 per hour depending on experience.
After 90 days we also give you ability to join our retirement plan.
Schedule:
The clinic is open Monday-Thursday 9:00-6:00. Therapy will take place in our clinic in Apopka, schools and preschools (in Apopka, Longwood, Altamonte Springs, Ocoee). We also semi follow the school schedule-as we are closed 3 days for Thanksgiving, 2 weeks for Christmas and 1 week Spring Break Please send your resume to info@speechbuilders.org.
