Job Description
We are hiring a part-time SLPA (bilingual) to treat our pediatric patients at the schools and clinic. We are looking for a therapist that is excited about making a change in a child's life, someone that can manage their schedule, complete notes, regularly communicate with parents, coach and encourage parents. SpeechBuilders is a rapidly growing SLP owned private practice based in Apopka, FL. Our goal is to help as many kids and parents while we are here on earth! We provide quality, innovative therapy to patients from all backgrounds and payer sources. We believe in treating each other with kindness and respect. We all play a part in accomplishing this mission. We believe in supporting our assistants and not just signing off on notes. Our goal is to help you be the best therapist you can be.Our Ideal Candidate would be:
- Proficient in providing therapy to kids of all ages.
- Engaging and friendly.
- A person that takes initiative to learn new therapy techniques and stay current on research
- A proactive problem solver that spots issues before they happen and identifies solutions, these may include calling/texting parents, rescheduling patients, moving a patient to a virtual session if they cannot come in.
- Can learn and use electronic medical record quickly and efficiently
- Loves working with young children-we treat a lot of toddlers in our office.
What We Pay:
We pay $24- 29 per hour depending on experience.
Schedule:
The clinic is open Monday-Thursday 9:00-6:00. Therapy will take place in our clinic in Apopka, schools and preschools (in Apopka, Longwood, Altamonte Springs, Ocoee). We also semi follow the school schedule-as we are closed 3 days for Thanksgiving, 2 weeks for Christmas and 1 week Spring Break Please send your resume to info@speechbuilders.org.Pay:
