Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, where you will play a vital role in supporting speech therapy services across diverse settings. Responsibilities Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering individualized speech therapy sessions tailored to each patient's or student's needs. Support early intervention programs by working with children from infancy through early childhood to promote developmental milestones. Implement therapy activities focused on improving speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication skills. Help prepare therapy materials, set up treatment environments, and maintain therapy documentation accurately. Collaborate with educators, parents, and caregivers to reinforce communication strategies within educational or home settings. Monitor patient progress and report observations to supervising clinicians to inform ongoing treatment planning. Maintain a safe, engaging environment conducive to learning and therapeutic growth for all clients. Requirements SLPA Florida State License Prior experience working with children or students in educational, clinical, or pediatric settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with pediatric development stages and early intervention practices. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with children, families, teachers, and healthcare professionals. Ability to follow detailed instructions from licensed clinicians while demonstrating initiative and enthusiasm. A passion for helping children improve their communication is essential.
