Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students' communication growth as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant for the upcoming school year. This opportunity involves working across several elementary and middle schools, supporting a diverse caseload of approximately 50-55 students. Enjoy the chance to develop your skills and make a meaningful impact while maintaining a flexible part-time schedule, with the possibility of increasing to full-time hours if supervision allows. Assignments will be based at various school locations, giving you a broad and dynamic work environment.
What We're Looking For:
Active Florida
DOH SLPA
license required Previous experience working in a school setting preferred, but not required Comfort traveling among multiple campuses as needed Ability to work with elementary and middle school-aged children Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Up-to-date fingerprint clearance (or ability to complete clearance through the AHCA Clearinghouse and obtain a JLA badge)
Key Responsibilities:
Work on-site exclusively with students under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist Implement therapy plans and document student progress Support students' speech and language development in both individual and group settings Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related staff Travel between assigned schools to provide services as scheduled Maintain strict adherence to privacy and compliance guidelines
