Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a difference in students' lives by providing vital speech and language support within elementary, middle, and high school settings. This contract position is an excellent opportunity to use your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to collaborate with educators and help students achieve effective communication skills.
Qualifications:
Active SLPA license or certification Experience working with children in educational or clinical environments Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and progress documentation Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and families Flexibility to adapt to different grade levels and student needs
Responsibilities:
Implement speech and language therapy activities under the direction of a supervising speech-language pathologist Support students across elementary, middle, and high school levels with communication goals Assist in preparing materials, documenting student progress, and collecting relevant data Participate in team meetings with other school professionals to ensure continuity of care and goal alignment Provide guidance and encouragement to help students develop confidence in communication Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and district policies This position places you in a supportive, dynamic school environment where your dedication contributes directly to student growth and achievement.
