POSITION GOAL
To provide leadership in coordinating speech-language program practices and initiatives at the school base that are consistent with district philosophy and best practices
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
- Establish, complete, and maintain all necessary database/records in accordance with Federal, State, and District policy and procedures. 2.
- Conduct speech and language screenings and diagnostic evaluations, including authentic assessments. 3.
- Schedule, plan, and provide interventions for identified students. 4.
- Analyze and interpret data in order to identify individual student or program needs. 5.
- Make data-based recommendations for planning, implementing, and monitoring evidence-based interventions and practices, including emergent literacy. 6. '
- Select and utilize appropriate materials including technology, tests or diagnostic tools, curriculum and intervention strategies or techniques according to evidence-based practices. 7.
- Work collaboratively with staff, families, and community liaisons to develop, implement, and monitor interventions. 8.
- Collaborate to develop and/or implement IEP goals and objectives for identified students. 9.
- Attend eligibility and placement stuffings, in-service activities, and staff meetings as appropriate. 10.
- Develop and deliver program support through training, demonstration, modeling related to evidence-based practices. 11.
- Gain understanding and essential knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other exceptionalities in order to facilitate appropriate instructional support. 12.
- Provide statistical information for program planning, such as FTE data, severity-rating data, case load information, end of year reports, matriculation reports, screening/evaluation results and other relevant data. 13.
- Maintain all certification or licensure requirements. 14.
- Develop, utilize, and/or support best practices in behavior management. 15.
- Develop and maintain computer skills necessary for record keeping, communication, and instructional intervention.

MA/S CCC-SLP
Certificate of Clinician Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF) for American Speech-Language & Hearing Association Hold or is eligible to hold a valid Florida Educator's Certificate in Speech Language Impaired, or meet Florida certification standards for Speech-Language Clinicians by the State of Florida Department of Health License in Speech-Language Pathology FLDOE Certification or FLDOH license Successful experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting preferred

Salary Info Base Salary:
