Speech Language Pathologist Assistant BlazerJobs - 3.4 Estero, FL Job Details Full-time 6 days ago Benefits 401(k) Qualifications SLPA License Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for full-time onsite opportunities supporting The School Districts in Fort Myers, Florida for the upcoming school year.

Onsite Only Elementary and Middle School Setting Requirements:
Active Florida Department of Health SLPA License Must meet all Florida state and district requirements for school-based practice
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Implement treatment plans and therapy activities designed by the supervising SLP Maintain accurate service logs, student progress notes, and documentation Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to support student success Assist with screenings, data collection, and progress monitoring Participate in IEP meetings as appropriate and support student goal implementation
Credentialing Requirements:
Fingerprinting required through The School District of Lee County Candidates with previous Florida school district fingerprints may be eligible for clearance transfer through the AHCA Clearinghouse If cleared, candidates must apply for a JLA badge, which can take up to 14 business days to process Existing JLA badges may be transferable from other Florida districts
