We are looking for Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our team. Child and Family Consultants has an immediate opening for licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant willing to work collaboratively to provide speech & language services to children with a variety of communication difficulties. We are looking for team players who are enthusiastic about teaching, communicating, facilitating the education of parents/caregivers, and working with children. You will enjoy an excellent salary, Continuing Education reimbursement and a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively with others members of the healthcare team. Pediatric sessions are geared toward establishing relationships through play for appropriate interactions and social skills. Therapists are trained to follow the child's lead in activities, so the child is encouraged to participate within their comfort level.
Responsibilities:
  • Assess speech, language, and communication disorders in patients
  • Provide therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and communication skills
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, collaborating with SLP to adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication outside of therapy sessions
  • Daily notes and collaboration with SLP regarding
