The Missing Peace is a pediatric therapy center dedicated to helping children thrive through compassionate, evidence-based care. Our team of specialists works collaboratively to support each child's growth in a warm, family-centered environment. Join our dynamic team at The Missing Peace, a private practice in Miami Shores, FL, offering Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Behavior Therapy, and Educational Services. About the
Role:
As the Assistant Director of Speech and Language at The Missing Peace, you will: Assist the Director in leading and mentoring a team of SLPs, CFs, and SLPAs in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to a pediatric population. Assist the Director in supporting the clinical and operational direction of our Speech and Language department. Provide therapy in both 1:1 and group settings, including language and social groups. Assist the Director in reviewing therapy notes, treatment plans, and session outcomes to ensure documentation standards and clinical best practices are consistently met. Collaborate with occupational therapists, behavior therapists, and educational specialists to deliver integrated, multidisciplinary care. Consult with client families to support home training and coaching. Conduct re-evaluations as needed and collaborate on client goals and treatment plans. Assist the Director in supporting the growth and development of the Speech and Language department.

Requirements and Qualifications:
Florida SLP License (required). ASHA CCCs (required). Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required). Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist (required). Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role (preferred). Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Passion for working with children and families.
