Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in schools located near North Fort Myers, FL! This contract position spans the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning August 11th and concluding May 27th, with flexible part-time hours ranging from 7.5 to 22.5 hours per week. For those with available supervision, there's potential to increase up to 37.5 hours weekly. You'll collaborate with other professionals across multiple school sites, providing vital services to students in elementary and middle grades. Caseloads are manageable, averaging 50-55 students, and assignments may be combined across campuses to maximize your schedule.
Qualifications:
Valid FL Department of Health SLPA licensure required School-based experience in Florida schools is preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to travel between multiple school locations if needed Commitment to supporting student progress in speech and language development Successful completion of fingerprinting and ability to secure a JLA badge prior to start (assistance with badge transfer available for those previously cleared)
Key Responsibilities:
