Job Description
Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available in the Orlando, FL area for the upcoming school year. Blazer Jobs is partnering with local school districts to hire a motivated and reliable SLPA who is passionate about supporting students with speech and language needs in an educational setting. Role:
This position involves working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct therapy services to students. The SLPA will assist with implementing treatment plans, collecting data, and supporting students across a variety of communication disorders. This is a collaborative role within a multidisciplinary team focused on student progress and success.Qualifications and Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Active Florida SLPA license issued by the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Compliance with Florida Department of Education requirements, if applicable Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skillsJob Duties:
Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of an SLP Implement individualized treatment plans and interventions Collect and document student data and progress Assist with screenings and assessments as directed Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state guidelinesTravel Contract Benefits:
