Job Description

HIRING SPEECH
‪
THERAPY ASSISTANT
(SLPA) with emphasis in
PEDIATRICS
. Located in West Pembroke Pines, Konfetti Kidz Therapy is a privately owned, state-of-the-art facility that provides speech, physical, and occupational therapies in a pediatric outpatient setting. Seeking clinicians to join our fast growing team. In a supportive and friendly working environment with flexible hours and competitive pay. ‪
Therapeutic Responsibilities:
Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to address patients' goals using a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities. Educate/communicate with family/guardians regarding treatment findings, strategies and adaptive techniques for enhancing services. Provide training and guidance on home exercises to promote carryover. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment sessions. Document special patient circumstances in case notes. Collaborate with external healthcare professionals, and interdisciplinary team departments to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes. Participate in interdisciplinary and department meetings, as needed.
Requirements:
‬‬ Associates Degree from an Speech-Language Pathology accredited program. Maintain state Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant Level II AHCA Background Screening ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ Current CPR/BLS Card‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred)
