Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school setting in Adairsville, GA. This contract position is ideal for an SLP passionate about pediatric speech therapy and eager to make a meaningful impact within the educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments for students to identify communication disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress. Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and student evaluations. Provide counseling and guidance to students and families regarding speech and language development.Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working in healthcare, pediatrics, and school-based speech therapy settings. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is highly preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with children, parents, and educators. Knowledge of current speech therapy practices and educational protocols.Location:
