Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract position supporting learners across multiple school sites in the greater Cumming, GA area! Help students build foundational communication skills by collaborating with dedicated educational teams and making a positive impact every day. Your expertise and commitment will empower children to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Communication Science Disorders is required Experience supporting school-based speech and language services strongly preferred Strong oral and written communication abilities Demonstrated capacity to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families Ability to adapt to varying school-site needs and schedules Candidates with SLPA-specific focus are not being considered; a broader communication disorders background is prioritized
What You'll Do:
Assist certified speech-language pathologists with direct and indirect student services Implement lesson plans targeting communication goals alongside supervising SLPs Prepare and organize therapy materials for individual and group settings Track student progress accurately and maintain data records Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for student support planning Travel between multiple school sites as part of a supportive educational community Engage in a school-year assignment beginning July 27th, 2026, and continuing through May 21st, 2027.
