Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your speech-language pathology expertise to a dynamic, student-centered contract opportunity supporting learners across multiple school levels. In this full-time role, you'll be instrumental in enriching communication and language outcomes for students, with a focus on middle and high school populations, while also providing valuable MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) assistance at the elementary level.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active or pending state licensure as an SLP Experience in school-based settings preferred Skills in assessment, intervention, and documentation for diverse age groups Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and flexibly support different student needs
What You'll Do:
Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to students primarily in middle and high school Assist elementary staff in MTSS processes, helping identify and support students requiring intervention Manage a reasonable caseload, expected to be 20 students or fewer Develop and implement IEPs, track student progress, and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments Document services and maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations This contract offers 40 hours per week in a supportive, team-oriented school setting. You'll have the chance to make meaningful connections with students across developmental stages, all while benefiting from a manageable caseload.
