Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will support licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering high-quality speech therapy services to diverse populations, including children and adolescents. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster effective communication skills, improve patient outcomes, and promote a positive therapeutic environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in settings such as schools, clinics, or acute care facilities, contributing directly to the growth and development of your clients. Duties Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients across various settings, including pediatrics and early intervention programs Support therapy sessions focused on improving speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing functions Prepare therapy materials and assist with the setup of equipment to ensure smooth session flow Monitor patient progress and document observations accurately in accordance with clinical protocols Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and medical staff to support patient goals outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and treatment plans Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment by adhering to health and safety standards in acute care or school settings Participate in ongoing training related to physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pediatric development to enhance your clinical knowledge Experience Prior experience working with children or students in educational or healthcare environments is highly preferred Knowledge of pediatric development, early intervention strategies, and speech therapy techniques is essential Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology related to speech and swallowing functions is advantageous Experience in acute care settings or school-based programs will help you excel in this role Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations of students and patients are required Previous involvement with IEP processes or pediatric therapy programs will support your success in this position Join us to make a meaningful difference by helping individuals unlock their communication potential! Pay:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
